~Information about active threats at schools and our rationale for adopting the ALICE framework
~An introduction to the ALICE Strategies (Alerts, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate)
~What ALICE looks like in an elementary school vs. a middle or high school
~Our current training and implementation plan including drills
~Time for Q and A

Paper entries are due by the end of the school day Wednesday and electronic entries can be submitted until 8am Thursday! We look forward to finding out who wins and are so proud of how many books our students have read! We will announce our total number of entries after our assembly on Thursday!

Dear Parent, Guardian, Staff Member or Community Member,
This posting serves as notice that a pesticide with a trade name of Bifenthrin I/T and an EPA registration number of 66000-196, is scheduled to be applied on Thursday and Friday, April 24, and 25, 2025 at each elementary school inside the perimeter of the
playgrounds. This application is being done to manage ticks as part of our Integrated Pest Management Program to ensure a safe and healthy school environment. Signs will also be posted prior to this application taking place, and will remain at least 48 hours after the application in accordance with the district's IPM plan and in compliance with the Maine Board of Pesticides Control Regulation CMR 01-026 Chapter 27.

Come join us on Wednesday April 30th for our Hollis Loves to Learn event! We will have several wonderful stations and activities available for all to enjoy! When you're done you can head down to the gym and check out family night at the book fair with our Hollis PTC!

Bikes for Books ends next Thursday! We are at almost 1,000 entries, don't forget to have your student submit an entry form for every book read. Online forms can also be submitted via our link below:

Bikes for Books kicks off today! Hollis students can fill out an entry form (teacher's will provide) or parents can fill one out via the QR code on the flyer for every book read between now and Thursday, April 17th. On the 17th we will have an all school assembly where one boy and one girl from each grade level will have their name selected from the entries to win a bike! Thank you to the Buxton Masonic Lodge #115 for bringing this amazing event to us again this year!
